Human Relations Day is a denomination-wide Special Sunday on January 18 that celebrates and raises awareness about the strength of human relationships. A Special offering is received the Sunday before Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and contributes to building his vision of “the beloved community” by supporting ministries of advocacy and community engagement such as the Community Developers Program, United Methodist Voluntary Services and Youth Offender Rehabilitation Programs. This year it will be celebrated on January 18, 2026.
